Use our network of contingency based lawyers - no collection, no lawyer's fee, only direct expenses incurred.  Most lawyers want cash upfront and charge you a few hundred rands per letter and for each phone call made or received, regardless of results.  Unless you have friends or family that are lawyers, you will probably not have access to legal assistance on a contingency basis.

We do not have lawyers but we have negotiated with lawyers on behalf of out clients.  Their fee is 20% of whatever they collect for you, when and as they collect for you.  You can add this legal cost to the amount outstanding from your bad payer as long as your contract makes provision for that.  For that matter you can add your Accountability costs as 'a collection cost' onto the bill of outstanding amounts. 

Please note that these legal services ARE NOT on a, 'no collection no costs basis. All out-of-pocket or direct expenses that the lawyers incur will be passed on to you.  For instance the cost of R200.00 for a sheriff summons and R20.00 government stamps will be passed on to you. You will be invoice for this.

When completing a Form B, we ask you if you would like to make use of our lawyers, at which point you tick Yes or No.  We then make the necessary introduction and you build a relationship with that particular lawyer.  If at any stage you resign from Accountability all the benefits of being an Accountability member fall away and you will be fully liable for all legal costs incurred, as the normal modus operandi for most lawyers.

This may not seem like a major benefit, but when you need legal assistance, you have peace of mind that you have solid backing.  Our clients do not have to use our lawyers and are welcome to stay with their existing lawyers if they already have a working symbiotic relationship.
